Coming Up For Air

When did I last blog? It’s been a while. I’ve been busy “vibe coding,” as they call it.

I can’t even begin to describe how much more “productive” I’ve become. My free time used to be spent doom scrolling on social media. New Year’s Eve, I decided to uninstall all those apps and find something else to do.

I homed in on some skills, paid for resources (Claude Code), and experimented a lot. This past month has just been a blast.

I’ve always enjoyed creating and building in my free time. I like spending hours outside of work building something I actually want to build, solving a problem I have. AI and agentic coding has just turbocharged that. In the past three weeks alone, I’ve built three non-trivial apps. Something that would have taken me weeks now takes a day.

I find joy in building stuff. I like making things that solve my own problems, and if they solve other people’s problems too, even better.

I hope to find some time to blog in detail about all the things I’ve learned soon, but for now, I didn’t want all my blog updates to be status updates 😀
